Welcome to the Thorlee, situated on the harbour front in the town of Stornoway. Located right in the centre of the town, we are an excellent base for business travellers or for touring the island.
We are located in the centre of Stornoway, the capital of the Western Isles, accessible by sea or air. We are only five minutes from the airport and 5 minutes by car or one minute's walking distance from the ferry terminal which is the main travel link to the Western Isles. We are one of the most centrally located establishments close to the main facilities (museums, sport centres, restaurants, bars, clubs, shops, banks, etc.) We extend the island's warmest welcome to all visitors. Please note that the hotel has no lift.

The Family rooms are en-suite and furnished to a high standard, with relaxing chairs to view the paronamic veiws over the harbour and the castle grounds. Most of the twin and single rooms offer the same views and standard of furnishings.
All rooms have tea making facilities with bottled water.
Food & beverage
Breakfast is served from 07:30 until 11:00.
Lunch is served from 12:00 until 15:00.
Coming by sea, the Thorlee is easily seen from the ferry terminal. Exiting the terminal road, turn left, then go straight on over the mini roundabout. When you pass the bus station, turn into the carpark. The Thorlee is situated opposite the town hall. Coming by air, a short 5 minute taxi ride will take you straight to us.
Please advise us of your arrival time if you are arriving after 18.00 hrs by boat or by plane.
Cancellation
If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.
Children and extra beds
All children are welcome.
All children under 6 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
All older children or adults are charged GBP 30.00 per night and person for extra beds.
There is no capacity for extra beds in the room.
Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 2.

Pets are allowed. No extra charges.
