Set in the heart of Aberdeen, this hotel is the hidden gem of the Granite City, with an elegant Victorian setting as the backdrop to its renowned, warm Scottish hospitality.

Deluxe rooms and dining outlets boast fantastic views over Union Terrace Gardens, and the hotel is very close to the main shopping centres of the city.

There are 77 bedrooms in total including executive rooms. All the rooms are en suite and fully equipped with hairdryer, TV and tea and coffee making facilities.

The Thistle Aberdeen Caledonian offers sumptuous dining facilities. The AA Rosette graded restaurant on the terrace prides itself on offering quality local produce. The restaurant is open from 18:30 to 21:30 Monday - Saturday (closed Sunday).

Caley cafe bar is the ideal getaway for light bites and hearty lunches, open from 10:30 to 23:00 daily.

Breakfast is served from 06:30 to 09:30 midweek, and from 07:30 to 10:30 at weekends.

The Thistle Caledonian is located in the heart of Aberdeen in the city centre, making it an ideal base for exploring the granite city.

The hotel provides a small, complimentry car park at the rear of the premises. Spaces are allocated on a first-come first-served basis and cannot be guaranteed.

By Car
From the motorway:
- Follow signs for the city centre and Union Street
- Halfway down the main thorughfare, turn left into Union Terrace and the hotel is on the left after approximately 100 yards.
- The car park is situated at the rear of the hotel on Diamond Street.

From Aberdeen Airport:
- Follow the A92 Dundee/Perth road, and at the roundabout, exit for the B9119/city centre.
- Continue into the city centre, and Union Terrace is located halfway down Union Street, the main thoroughfare.

From Aberdeen bus and rail stations (5 minute walk):
Turn left after exiting the station and follow the road to the right. Proceed up Bridge Street to the traffic lights. Cross to the other side of the road and the hotel is situated 100 yards along Union Terrace, on the left.

Please note that the hotel is currently undergoing a £3 million refurbishment, the first phase of which should be completed by August 2008. We will endeavour to keep guest disruption to a minimum during this time.

Reservations must be cancelled one day in advance of your arrival date.
In the event of a no show or a cancellation in breach of this policy, an amount equivalent to one night average cost of accommodation will be charged.
The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise credit cards prior to arrival.

Children older than 14 year are considered adult for room occupancy.
Children no older than 4 year can stay for free.
