Set in the quiet village of Weston, this friendly, family run hotel and pub offers the charm of a 17th century Tudor farmhouse with a contemporary restaurant and accommodation.

The pub occupies the farmhouse, built in 1652, while the hotel and restaurant were added in the 1970s. All bedrooms were refurbished in 2006, to offer comfortable accommodation with modern amenities.

The Weston Suite conference room can cater for all types of functions, and is licensed for civil wedding ceremonies. Buffets or set course dining can be arranged.

The White Lion Hotel is only a 5 minute drive from the M6 and 10 minutes from Crewe railway station.

Although the original Tudor Farmhouse was built in 1652, the hotel and restaurant were added in the 1970s. All rooms are en suite and were decorated and refurbished in 2006, offering a comfortable relaxing stay. A free wireless internet hot spot is also available.

Our menu is available in both the Tudor Farmhouse Lounge and the restaurant, with no difference in price so you can choose which dining experience you want. Food is freshly prepared and cooked with many items homemade including the chips which are extremely popular. Our specials menu is changed regularly, and we have up to 25 wines available by the glass.

The White Lion is only 3 miles from Crewe and its station, 6 miles from Nantwich and only a couple of miles from junction 16 of the M6 and the A500.

The hotel offers an ideal base for exploring Cheshire, Manchester, Birmingham and Liverpool. Other nearby places of interest are:

From the M6 motorway:
- Exit at junction 16 and follow the A500 for Crewe.
- At the roundabout take the 1st exit signposted Weston.
- At the next roundabout take the last exit signposted Weston.
- Continue onto Mill Lane, then Cemetery road and follow till end.
- Turn right onto Main Road, where you will find the hotel.

From Crewe Station:
- Exit station and turn right.
- Turn right at the roundabout onto Weston Road.
- Take the 2nd exit at the next roundabout.
- Continue and take the next right for Weston.
- Continue as above.

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later, the first night will be charged.
In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

All children are welcome.
All children up to 2 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children up to 2 years are charged GBP 5.00 per night and person for cots.
All older children or adults are charged GBP 10.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
