For over 600 years, the Rose and Crown, the largest hotel in this ancient town, has welcomed royalty and commoners alike and played host to many grand events.

The hotel is easily reached, from Peterborough (25 minutes by car), King's Lynn (10 minutes) and Ely (20 minutes). With 30 executive and character bedrooms, including 2 4-poster suites, 3 bars, 2 restaurants and 5 conference and reception rooms, this versatile hotel offers sophisticated facilities within rooms that tell stories from hundreds of years of history.

A range of function rooms provide intimate meetings with coffee facilities to grand occasions with multiple course meals. The various restaurant menus (a la carte, brassiere, bar e.t.c.) can be enjoyed in any part of the hotel to suit your mood. The Courtyard restaurant has outside tables, ideal for summer evenings.

Furnished with a large collection of farm implements and machinery from a bygone age, which were in common use on the Fens until the 2nd World War, Tidnam's Tipple Inn pub serves a wide selection of real ales, lagers, wines, spirits and cocktails. It is popular with locals and guests alike.

All rooms have an en suite with toilet, bath and shower facilities. Rooms are comprised of single, twin and doubles, some with corner baths. There are two 4 poster bed suites, a bridal suite with an extra large bathroom and the Laughton suite which has a relaxing lounge for more space.

- Take the exit for Wisbech onto Churchill Road.
- Continue till the end of the road, turning right at the roundabout.
- Turn left onto Nene Quay, then take the 1st left then 1st right. The hotel is at the end of Market Place a little further up.

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later, the first night will be charged.
