A detached 1850 villa, we are situated in the beautiful quiet conservation area of Torquay, minutes on foot to the blue flag Meadfoot beach and its wonderful coastal walks, yet only a 10-minute stroll into Torquay’s bustling harbour and town centre.

We provide sumptuous comfortable surroundings with a sense of occasion in a welcoming and unpretentious atmosphere with strong emphasis on personal yet unobtrusive customer service.

Our bedrooms are appointed to a high standard with virtually all of them refurbished in 2006 with brand new luxury en suites. In summer our guests enjoy the heated swimming pool and a piping hot open-air spa. In the winter you may choose to relax in our cosy bar.

This is a non-smoking hotel.

Breakfast is served from 08:30 until 09:30.

By car: Coming from Exeter, follow the a380 towards Torquay. At the junction of the a3022 follow the signs for the Sea Front. When you reach the Sea Front make a left turn onto Torbay Road. Follow Torbay Road to the third roundabout (this is just past Debenhams). Turn left at this roundabout onto Babbacombe Road. Make a right turn at the next traffic lights onto Meadfoot Road, which then becomes Meadfoot Sea Road. Our hotel is on the right hand side, just 3 minutes up the road. Just look for the Royal blue sign.

This is a non-smoking hotel throughout.

Should you wish to cancel please be aware that we do require at least 3 days (72 hours) notice from 14:00 of the day of your arrival or you will be liable for the cost of your 1st night's stay for all rooms booked from your card. We recommend that you take out holiday insurance in case of this eventuality as we respectfully state that no exceptions are made to this policy at all.

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

All children are welcome.
All children under 1 year stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years are charged GBP 30.00 per night and person for cots.
There is no capacity for extra beds in the room.
Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.

Pets are not allowed.
