Guests receive reduced rates for rounds of golf and games of tennis. There are 18 and 9 hole courses to choose from, as well as a 20 bay flood lit driving range to practise your swing.

Our accommodation is comprised of double and twin bedrooms and 2 suites. Each room has the common facilities as well as Sky TV and Wi-Fi internet access (upon request). All rooms are in keeping of the style of the complex. Rooms have superb views of the golf course and surrounding countryside.

If you wish to dine at The Essex can take advantage of the newly-refurbished Pulse Bar, which offers a bar menu, daily specials and a 3-course evening menu. You can also enjoy a drink on the veranda, which overlooks the beautifully maintained 18-hole county golf course.

From the M11 / Stansted Airport:
- Exit onto the A120 for Colchester.
- By Coggeshall, turn left onto Colne Road, following signs for Essex Golf and Country Club.

From Colchester:
- Follow the A12 for Chelmsford and exit onto the A1124 (Halstead Road).
- Continue for Earls Colne and turn left onto Coggeshall Road, following signs for Essex Golf and Country Club.

Parking:
- There is free parking at the hotel.

Children are only permitted to use the hotel's swimming facilities between 10.00 and 19.00 each day. Anyone under the age of 17 years is not permitted to stay in the hotel, unless accompanied by an adult.

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

All children are welcome.
All children up to 12 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children up to 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
All older children or adults stay free of charge for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
