The Empress Hotel commands a prime position on the Victorian promenade overlooking Douglas Bay. Built at the end of the last century, the hotel has been extensively upgraded resulting in an interior transformation.

Ronaldsway Airport is 10 miles along the main road into Douglas. The hotel is situated on the central promenade in Douglas.
