Situated in central Chepstow, you are surrounded by the impressive 13th century town walls and its twisting medieval streets. If you are looking for wide open spaces, the Black Mountains and the Brecon Beacons are within a 40 minute drive, whilst the attractive golf courses at St. Pierre, Shirenewton, Celtic Manor and Dewstow are all within twenty minutes of the hotel.

Other nearby attractions include:

Chepstow Castle (350 metres) - this substantial structure has stood on a cliff overlooking the River Wye since the 11th century.

Chepstow Racecourse (2.7 km / 1.7 miles) - meetings are held all year round under both National Hunt and Jockey Club Rules.

Tintern Abbey (10 km / 6 miles) - founded in 1131, this renowned tourist attraction is the best preserved medieval abbey in Wales.

By Car:
- Proceed from the M5 to the M4, towards South Wales.
- Follow signs for the old Severn Bridge and proceed across it.
- Take the 1st junction and follow the signs to Chepstow.
- At Highbeech roundabout, take the 3rd exit (A48 to Gloucester) and follow the road until you see a large church at the bottom of the hill on the left (you can see the back of the hotel from here).
- Turn left before the church at the traffic lights and then left again onto the one-way system.
- You can then see the sign for the hotel.
