The hotel complex is surrounded by a spacious park with a botanic pathway.

Our guests are provided with ideal conditions during their stay and during the duration of the Vitarium programmes. The hotel has high category rooms with free network connections. Rooms are spacious and air-conditioned. There are also suites and apartments with a bath instead of a shower. Some rooms also have a balcony. A presidential apartment is also available (100m2).

For relaxation and recreation the guests may use 5 pools that are filled with thermal water. 2 pools are indoors (32 °C). The 3 outdoor pools are a part of a wonderful health resort natural park. The sport and the children’s pools are both 26-28 C° and the beloved wooden pool that lies above the actual thermal water spring is 32 C°.

Vitarium Spa&Clinique centre is intended for all who are aware that for a successful approach to life’s daily situations, one has to be physically and psychologically fit. Relaxing and effective Vitarium Spa&Clinique centre programmes are a step towards better health, revival of body energy, health and aesthetic physical appearance as well as excellent abilities of the body and mind. The programmes are individually tailored and are based on natural procedures with measurable effects.

The restaurant includes self-service breakfast with bio corner which features biologically produced food. 4 menus are prepared for lunches and dinners namely local, Mediterranean, protective and vegetarian. The local menu features local dishes. The Mediterranean menu features mostly fish dishes in combination with seasonal vegetables. The protective menu is prepared from selected protective foods with the emphasis on healthy food preparation. The guests are also offered dishes based on the so-called separation diet.
Cold appetizers, warm hors d’oeuvres, soups, salads and deserts are offered in self-service bars only whereas the main dishes are served.
A wide range of Slovenian wines is available to wine lovers. The in-house sommelier will assist in finding the harmony between the food and the wine.

Breakfast: 07:00-10:00.
Lunch: 12:00-14:00.
Dinner: 18:00-21:00.

Our mission is to stimulate regular activity. This is the reason why these offers are, at the Smarjeske Toplice, rich and appropriate for all ages and levels of fitness. The health resort complex is surrounded by numerous paths and low-traffic local roads which are appropriate for cycling trips. Our specialty is 9 walking paths for a Nordic Walk. The sports park includes 4 tennis courts, football and basketball court, sand volleyball, mini golf and bowling alley.

From Ljubljana Airport (Brnik) to Novo mesto:
- From airport turn left on the local road.
- At the 1st crossroad turn left again and you will come on the highway E63.
- Go in direction of Ljubljana.
- From Ljubljana, follow direction to Zagreb (highway E70). -
- Šmarješke Toplice is in the same direction.
- After 70 km you will come to the exit for Otočec, then turn right and follow local road to Šmarješke Toplice (direction of Zagreb).
- After 7 km from highway you will come to the hotel.

By Public Transport:
The nearest bus or railway station is in Novo mesto. It is best is to take a taxi; approximate cost is EUR 20.

If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later, the first night will be charged.
In case of no-show, 30 percent of all nights will be charged.

All children are welcome.
All children under 4 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children from 4 to 12 years are charged 50 % of the room stay per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 2.
