Set on the banks of Venice's famous canals, this elegant hotel is located in the historical heart of the city, very close to Piazza San Marco and the Rialto Bridge.
Constructed from several fascinating and unique historical structures, during your stay you can enjoy the view of bustling gondolas, either from the hotel's side pier, Rio dei Baratteri Canal or Rio dei Ferai Canal. The hotel also features views of romantic bridges and sights rarely seen.
Still partially undergoing renovation in some common areas, the hotel has been recently renewed in its interior decorations, including cut-glass mirrors that recall the formal elements of the Venetian architecture. The velvet and silk fabrics, with tones from pearl grey to light violet, complete this delicate and elegant atmosphere.

The Starhotels Splendid Venice is located in the heart of Venice, quite close to Piazza San Marco and to Ponte di Rialto. It can be reached by gondola, mooring on to the private pier, from which you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the historical centre of Venice, dominated by the famous bell tower of San Marco. All the main fashion shops are only a few steps from the hotel.
The hotel is located in the heart of Venezia, very close to piazza San Marco and the Rialto Bridge. The hotel also has a landing dock, so it is possible to reach it by water taxi from any point of arrival (train station, Piazzale Roma, airport).
By Train:
From Santa Lucia Train Station (1 km):
Take a ferry towards Rialto to the Rialto stop.
By Car:
From the A4 Venezia/Milano motorway (8 km):
- Exit at Venezia and go towards Venezia to Piazzale Roma, where you can park your car.
- From Piazzale Roma (12 minutes) take a ferry toward Rialto to the Rialto stop.
By Plane:
From Marco Polo Airport (15 km):
- Take a bus or a shuttle service to the Piazzale Roma stop in Venice.
The restaurant and bar are closed due to renovation work, so meals and breakfast cannot be served. Rates are room only and there is no possibility of eating in the hotel. The hotel apologises for the inconvenience.
The restaurant will be available as from the 1 September 2007.

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.
