We are a small but personal and friendly alternative for people looking for a reasonable and comfortable Bed and Breakfast close to Oslo's city centre.

Bygdøy Allè, the next street from the residence, is one of Norway’s most famous streets and is a beautiful sight in springtime when all the chestnut trees are in full bloom. Right in the middle of this delightfulness is Residence Kristinelund, located on a small hillside.

In the beautiful garden, you can enjoy a nice cup of coffee and experience the 19th century's magnificent architectural style.

We are within walking distance of most attractions of the city centre, as for example the Karl Johan Street, beautiful Bygdøy, the Royal Castle, the Vigeland Park, Akershus Fortress & Castle and the National Museum.

You will find restaurants for every taste in the nearby area. Everything from exclusive restaurants like Feinscmecker or Bagatelle, which can be found in the Michelin guide, to Egon or Peppes Pizza, for those who want something simpler.

From the Airport:
Take the air train to Nathionaltheateret (20 minutes). Then take bus number 30 or 31 to Olav Kyrres Plass (5 to 10 minutes). Then you will see a big white house on your right-hand side (one minute).

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

All children are welcome.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years are charged NOK 125.00 per night and person for cots.
All older children or adults are charged NOK 200.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 1.
Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 2.
