Welcome to family run hotel/pension Zaplata in the Kokra valley, only 30 minutes from the capital city Ljubljana, near International airport Brnik (transfer free of charge).

The pension is located under mighty mountains Karavanke and Kamniške/ Savinjske Alpe - enjoy skiing in ski center Krvavec, or go mountaineering, mountain biking, trekking, fishing, hunt tourism, discover Slovenia (rent a car).

Pension Zaplata lies at the foot of the Kamniške and Savinjske Alps in the village Tupaliče by the Kranj-Jezersko road. Here you have an unforgettable view of the Slovenian Alpine world, from Krvavec on the east to Triglav on the west. We are situated just minutes away form the city of Kranj, the international airport Brnik and the ski slopes of Krvavec.

We have 42 beds in 18 new, en suite, air conditioned rooms. Our rooms with balconies have magnificent views overlooking the Slovenian Alps. You can choose between smoking and non-smoking rooms. We have free beds for children upon request.

The specialty of our cuisine are game dishes (stag goulash, deer with morello cherries and orange), tasteful national dishes marked by time of year and our surroundings (fresh mushrooms, blueberries, herbs, harvest from our neighboring farm). You can also try homemade specialties: game salami, elder juice, tea and marmalade.
Our restaurant serves excellent dishes as well as homemade and 1st-class bottled wines.

The restaurant seats 150 and has a children's corner. The winter terrace has a wonderful view of the Julian
and Karavanke Alps. The summer garden overlooks the grassy Zaplata and children’s playground.

We are situated just minutes away form the city of Kranj, the international airport Brnik and the ski slopes of Krvavec.
The family pension Zaplata lies under mighty Storžič in a village Tupaliče where Kokra river breaks its banks from the gorge and flows down on a plane. Natural beauties are offering unique and unforgettable adventures.

Various trips and activities are available in every season. The area is ideal for cyclists and mountain-bikers riding through picturesque glades.

The river Kokra Valley is an ideal starting point for mountaineering, interesting hill-climbing tours and even rock-climbing and paragliding.

The well-known motorist road over the border Jezersko
runs past pension Zaplata. Here you can refresh
yourselves or stay overnight. Zaplata is also q wonderful starting point for numerous tours around Slovenia.

The popular Slovene skiing centre in Krvavec (10 km) offers
day and night sledging.

You can skate in Jezersko (14 km) and also take part in cross-country skiing.

Arrival by plane:
Ljubljana-Brnik airport is only 6 km from here. A daily transfer to the hotel is available free of charge.

By car from the airport:
- Head in the direction of Kranj.
- Go straight ahead at the 1st and 2nd roundabouts.
- At the roundabout at the Mercator shopping centre, turn right (direction Jezersko).
- At the end of the road on the left, you will come to traffic lights - turn right here.
- Drive through Milje, Visoko and Hotemaže.
- We are in Tupaliče, on the right hand side (up on the little hill) beside the main road Kranj-Jezersko. In front of us there is a yellow Logo petrol station.

From the north (Austrian border - Ljublej, Kranjska Gora - Karavanke tunnel)
- Head towards Kranj (Ljubljana).
- Take the Kranj Zahod (west) exit from the motorway and turn left.
- At the roundabout take the 2nd exit, towards Jezersko.
- At the crossroads beside guesthouse Lakner turn left.
- Drive through Kokrica and Predoslje.
- You will come to the crossroads with traffic lights, turn left towards Jezersko.
- Drive through Milje, Visoko and Hotemaže then as above.

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later, the first night will be charged.
In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

All children are welcome.
All children up to 6 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children up to 2 years are charged EUR 6.00 per night and person for cots.
All older children or adults are charged EUR 6.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
