The Nova Siri Village is in Basilicata, in the heart of “Magna Grecia”, looking Taranto’s Gulf; it’s a structure of recent construction (inauguration June 2003) situated in a green oasis of great beauty and suggestion; a fresh and green pine-forest separates from the clear Ionio sea. The history of this land is millenary, evidenced by important and rich archaeological sites like necropolis, temples and bas-reliefs.

From 24 May to 27 September, the hotel offers a comprehensive programme of daytime entertainment, with the large, dedicated entertainment team overseeing sports activities, games, tournaments and group sport lessons and courses. Sports and activities on offer include beach volleyball, tennis, table tennis, gymnastics, aerobics and step, aqua aerobics and dance groups. Water sports such as canoeing and windsurfing are also available.

The hotel also offers a programme of evening entertainment including live shows, cabaret, games and musicals in the amphitheatre.

The hotel also operates a kids club, AW Bimbus Village, a supervised entertainment programme for children aged between 3 and 17 years old, offering a range of activities tailored to the children’s age range, with a Baby Club all the way up to a Junior Club. The dedicated staff members will look after the children and help ensure that their holiday is full of fun and games.

The Baby Bimbus Baby Club is for 3 to 6 year olds, and offers daily entertainment, games and activities, including expressive art workshops and showings of children’s films, all carefully monitored by staff.

The J Bimbo Mini Club is for children aged between 7 and 12 years old, and offers introductory sports courses, theatre workshops, games and activities.

The AW Young Village is the resort’s junior club and is for 13 to 17 year olds. The club offers sports activities, organised tournaments and shows.

All the rooms are situated in the central body of the village, furnished in simple and functional way.

Poseidon, the hotel’s main restaurant, offers generous and delicious buffets, featuring a selection of authentic local specialities from the region, as well as traditional Italian dishes.

The beach bar and the hotel’s main bar, Oasis, offer guests a selection of snacks and drinks.

The resort also offers an all-inclusive option and this includes full board (buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner) and drinks during meals (soft drinks, water, beer and draught house wine). Guests taking advantage of the all-inclusive option can also enjoy the cafe, which is open from 10:00 to 00:00, and which offers soft drinks, beer, draught fruit juices, coffee and unbranded national liqueurs throughout the day. Various sweet and savoury snacks are also available from 10:00 to 00:00. All tinned and bottled beverages are not included in the all-inclusive option, these must be paid for separately and are only available at an additional cost.

The area is rich in archaeological sites like necropolis, temples and bas-reliefs. The complex is 1 km from the railway station of Nora Siri and 160 km from Bari Palese airport.
Excursions (on payment) are available to Matera, Venosa with its Federiciani Castles, Castellana Caves, and Alberobello.

By Air:
The nearest airport is Bari Karol Wojtyla International Airport, also known as Palese Macchie Airport, which is 160 km from the hotel.

By Train:
The hotel is just one km from Nova Siri’s train station. Alternatively, Taranto’s train station is 80 km away.

By Car:
Follow the route to the little town of Modugno (BA), then look for signs for Matera and then for the village of Policoro, which is near the resort.

Parking:
Parking is available for guests’ use, free of charge.

From 24 May to 27 September, a Club Card is compulsory for all guests older than 3 years old. Club Cards are available from the hotel at an additional cost. The additional cost of the Club Cards covers the hotel’s extensive entertainment programme, sports equipment, the shuttle service and the beach/pool service (including sun umbrellas, deck chairs and sun loungers according to availability).

Weekend Club Cards are also available and these are again compulsory for all guests older than 3 years old between 24 May and 27 September.

Beach towels are available for a deposit.
