Nordkalotten is the geographic name for the provinces touching the Arctic Circle and the timbered walls from which the hotel is built is estimated to be between 700-1000 years old.
The unique surroundings are situated only 2 km from Lulea Airport and 6 km from the centre of town.

Nordkalotten Hotell is built from thousand year old Kelo wood, with the eight corners symbolising the eight seasons of the Sami year.
The hotel is built upon old reindeer pasture and traces of old Sami settlements are to be found in the area.
The large open fireplace in the restaurant Åtta Årstider (Eight Seasons) weighs 17 tonnes and is made of shale from Finland. The floor is made of massive pine and is 4 centimetres thick.
We are located between city and natural surroundings, south west of Luleå and close to Luleå Airport.
Being so close to the natural surroundings, the city centre, and Luleå Airport you will not miss anything.
Rooms for disabled guests are available upon request. The hotel offers easy access to the hotel entrance and public areas.

The restaurant is open every evening between 18:00 and 21:00 and offers an evening buffet. Table reservations are not required.
Relax and take stock of your day in the evening at Renhagen, the hotel bar and enjoy the timber setting and lovely views over Lake Höträsket.
Bar Renhagen is open daily from early afternoon until late evening for hot or cold drinks.
The café is always open for hot and cold drinks, light snacks, cakes and cookies and sandwiches.
All areas offers easy access for disabled guests.
There are various dining facilities such as Restaurang Åtta Årstider with its timber atmosphere, the magnificent Restaurang Lappkåtan with its 14 metre high ceiling or dinner outside in one of our Sami tents.
Cancellation
If cancelled up to 16:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.
Children and extra beds
All children are welcome.
All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years are charged SEK 200.00 per night and person for cots.
All older children or adults are charged SEK 300.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.
