There are more than 250 kilometres of hiking paths and nearly 200 kilometres of cycle paths right on your doorstep. Interesting cities include Rotenburg with its historic old quarter, Bad Hersfeld, Kassel, Eisenach, the spa town Bad Soden-Allendorf with its museums and the cathedral city Fulda.

The surrounding landscape is charming and there many forests and mountains nearby e.g. Waldhessen, Knüllgebirge, the Rhone, Vogelsberg, Thüringer forest. You can also discover interesting museums such as the Kali mining museum, the railway and toy museum and the Heimat and frontier museum.

By car:

Coming from Frankfurt/M. or Würzburg:
- Take the A5 or A7 to Kirchheimer Dreieck
- Take the A4 towards Eisenach and take the exit Wildeck-Hönebach (number 34), then drive on towards Bebra
- At the end of Ronshausen it is after 900 metres on the right

Coming from Berlin or Dresden:
- Take the motorway via Hermsdorfer crossing
- Take the A4 via Eisenach towards Frankfurt/M. to the exit Wildeck-Hönebach. Then as above.

Coming from Hannover or Dortmund:
- Take the A7 or the A44 via Kassel
- Take the A7 to the exit Malsfeld (number 83)
- Follow signs towards Rotenburg/F./B 83
- Take the B83 towards Rotenburg/Bebra and then drive towards
Bebra. Before Bebra take the B27 towards Bad Hersfeld
- Take the next exit towards Weiterode/Wildeck
- At the end of Weiterode turn left after about 600 m.

By train:
Take the train to Bebra (ICE or IC) and then a taxi to the hotel (takes about 10 minutes).

The hotel has 80 car park spaces and 3 bus spaces, all for use free of charge.
