Since 1878, overlooking the picturesque Opera Garden, the magnificent Hotel Riga has been located in the heart of Riga and is a neighbour to the National Opera and Freedom Monument.

In the 19th century, Hotel Riga was originally the impressive Hotel de Rome, built in 1878. During the war, the elegant building was destroyed and in 1956, a completely new, grand, 6-floor hotel building was constructed. It was named after the capital of Riga and aimed to be a symbol of hospitality for the city.

From business meetings to grand celebrations, from seminars to warm family jubilees, the range of conference and banqueting rooms combine with long-standing service to create a memorable event. The hotel offers 4 conference rooms for 30 to 250 people and 3 banqueting halls for 120 to 300 people. Full service and technical equipment is provided.

Catering requests will be fulfilled by the Palm Garden restaurant.

All rooms have a modern interior, light elegance and comfortable amenities, accompanied by an excellent view of the old town or opera garden.

Several important updates have been implemented since late November 2006, with improvements made to hot water, water pressure, heating and cable TV. Good service has been reported in all facilities.

Our fine-dining signature restaurant Palm Garden serves exquisite European Cuisine, together with a selection of wines and delicious desserts, as well as a rich breakfast buffet each morning. Open daily: 11:00 - 23:00. Wheelchair accessible.

Palm Terrace is an ideal place to meet in a nice weather for a drink with your friends or business partners and enjoy fresh salad accompanied with wine, beer and other beverages. Open during summer from 07:00 - 23:00.

The Lobby Bar is the perfect place to enjoy Riga's elegant atmosphere tasting cocktails, coffee and snacks. Open daily from 10:00 - 02:00. Wheelchair accessible.

By Car:
- The hotel is situated in the city centre.
- It is a 20-minute drive from the International Airport to Hotel Riga.

The hotel does not offer any parking facilities. However, a guarded underground parking lot is 200 metres away.

By Public Transport:
The nearest train station is Central Station, 500 metres from the hotel.
The nearest tram station is 20 metres from the hotel (take tram numbers 5, 7 and 9).
The central bus station is 400 metres from the hotel.

By Plane:
Taxi transfer is the quickest way to go from the airport to the hotel and back again. Costs EUR 19 one way.
