Bockstein belongs to Bad Gastein and is located almost at the end of the Gastein valley which was built in the 17th century.

Our hotel Rader is located by the romantic village square in the middle of this fairy-tale village. From our hotel you can easily reach all facilities in the village.

Our rooms are generous sized, bright, modern and equipped with all comfort you need. They have a modern sitting area, bathroom with shower or bathtub, toilet and hair dresser. The walls with 1 meter thickness provide you silence like in heaven.

Let us surprise you with culinary delicasies. Inspired by the Italian, French and Dutch cuisine, we offer 3 times a week a wonderful 4-course-surprise-menu.

BY CAR:

From the Netherlands, Germany, Eastern Europe and Vienna:

Direction München Salzburg (A8). At Salzburg A10, direction Villach.
Exit Bischofshofen, direction Gasteinertal. Once arrived in the Gastein valley go direction car train to Villach.
After 25 kilometres you will get to Böckstein. Follow the street that turns right and go direction Sportgastein and Heilstollen. After 300 metres turn right over the bridge and follow the street.
At the beginning of Altböckstein you see Hotel Rader in front of you.

From Italy
Take the car train from Mallnitz to Böckstein. Follow the street direction Böckstein, turn left direction Sportgastein and Heilstollen. After 300 metres you turn right over the bridge and follow the street.

BY PLANE
You have the choice between a bus transfer or train to the Gastein valley.
The train stops at Bad Gastein. We are happy to pick you up there.

BY TRAIN

From the Netherlands you can start at any big train station which takes you about 14 hours to get to Bad Gastein. We are happy to pick you up at the train station.

For you and your dog we have special rooms available.
A dog costs EUR 1,50 per day. Extra charge for final cleaning EUR 10,00.

If cancelled up to 90 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled up to 30 days before date of arrival, 40 percent of all nights will be charged.
If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, 70 percent of all nights will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, 90 percent of all nights will be charged.

All children are welcome.
All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
There is no capacity for extra beds in the room.
Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
