Hotel Hvar is situated in the small picturesque town Jelsa on the Island Hvar which is located on a wooded hill which slopes to the shoreline. It has a beautiful olive garden, renovated indoor swimmingpool and a small outdoor swimmingpool with a lovely sun terrace. Center of Jelsa is just a short walk away. Close to the hotel are two beach areas, one of which is suitable for children.

We offer a wide range of sporting facilities including indoor and outdoor swimming pools, tennis courts, bike rental and a fitness room.

Most of the 205 rooms have a balcony or terrace and are equipped with a fan, satellite TV and telephone. Most rooms offer a marvellous view of the Adriatic Sea, the island of Brac and the Makarska Riviera on the mainland.

Every table of our dining room features a fabulous view of the sun soaked Adriatic Sea. Start the morning with our breakfast buffet including a delicious croissant, freshly brewed coffee or refreshing fruit juice. The restaurant is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Guests may dine indoors or al fresco in an authentic Mediterranean ambience.

Meals cost EUR 10 per person per night in addition to the room rate.

The Island of Hvar is the fourth largest Adriatic Island. 68 km long and maximum 10,5 km wide this island counts 11200 inhabitants. With average of approximately 2750 sun shine hours per year this island is among the most sun tenacious travel destinations in the Adriatic. The main activity is agriculture which can be seen by the large lavender and rosemary fields and the extensive olive, lemon and orange plantations.

You can reach the island of Hvar by ferry from Split to Stari Grad. This ferry can take cars, or you can take a speed boat from Split directly to Jelsa. The nearest airport is in Split.

All children between 6 and 12 are invited to join the daily animation program with Kids Club.

All adult guests are invited to participate in animation activities too. During high season there is live music on the pool terrace.

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later, the first night will be charged.
In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

All older children or adults are charged 90 % of the room stay per night and person for extra beds.
