The hotel is situated in the historic centre, close to the main square of the Isle. It has been entirely renewed with ecological standards, which are environmentally friendly and energy efficient.

The hotel's facilities include a lift and common areas with air conditioning. The 26 rooms, some of them with balcony, are furnished in a modern style.

Other services include the restaurant “Al Clelia”, a bar with an open space, an internet point, laundry, scooter and boat rental and a diving centre.

The hotel's restaurant, Al Clelia, is located on the top floor of the hotel and benefits from a panoramic view of the sea and across the old town. The restaurant serves mainly fish and Sicilian dishes, specialities are spaghetti with lobster and fish couscous.

The island of Ustica, 70 km north of Palermo, is the summit of an inactive underwater volcano, 2000 metres high and dating back more than one million years. The variety of vulcanites make the island an open air museum of volcanology.

The archaeological remains are of great historical interest: the impressive Villaggio dei Faraglioni; Folconiera, where there is a vast Roman Necropolis with a grave and underground tombs, and; remains of Roman farms can be found on the entire island.

The volcanic nature of the island and the slow and constant erosive action of the sea has made Ustica’s coastline irregular and indented, full of inlets, small coves and beautiful caves.

It is fascinating and pleasant to stroll through the streets of the town centre: Murals decorate the exteriors of the houses and the aromas of traditional cooking accompany the you through the narrow alleys, in front of houses that very cleverly exhibit the local products on the classic straw covered chairs.

The Marine Reserve, the first in Italy, established in 1986 used an educational centre and is divided into three zones: Zone A an integral reserve where swimming is permitted in certain areas and where the visitors can come into direct contact with the fishes that are no longer afraid man; Zone B where underwater photography, fishing and angling are permitted and; Zone C all kinds of fishing are permitted except underwater fishing.
