Originally from 1885, our rejuvenated hotel has been buoyed by the recent renovations which include 81 modern and tastefully decorated rooms.

Centrally located in a quiet one-way street 3 minutes walk from the Central Railway Station, DGI-Sports- and swim centre, Øksnehallen, and close to Tivoli Gardens, Town Hall Square and the famous shopping street “Strøget”.

The conference room caters for up to 25 participants and is equipped with modern AV-equipment and wireless internet access.

The complimentary large buffet breakfast is served in the hotel's restaurant, or during summer, in the hotel's court yard.

The hotel has recently been renovated and modernised and now has 81 newly furnished rooms of which 24 are large family rooms.

Ansgar is in blue zone, 250 meters from here starts green zone. Price DKK 12 per hour. Centre of Copenhagen red zone DKK 30 per hour.
You pay also on Saturday in green & red zone.

Having left the customs at Kastrup Airport, continue straight ahead and below the clock you will find the DSN-office selling train tickets.
Adults one way charge DKK 21.00 to Copenhagen.
Trains leaves several times every hour and the ride takes 13 min. to Copenhagen Central Station. When you leave the train walk up the large steel staircase leading to Tietgensgade. Once you are on the street face the Central Station Building and then walk left down Tietgensgade about 180 meters to Colbjørnsensgade. Turn right and you will see the sign of Hotel Ansgar.
The walk should take approx. 3 - 4 minutes from the train station.

Parts of the hotel will be under renovation until 1 May 2007.

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

All children are welcome.
All children or adults are charged DKK 200.00 per night and person for extra beds.
All children under 2 years are charged DKK 100.00 per night and person for cots.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.

Pets are allowed on request. Charges may be applicable.
