Dragalevski Monastery (5 km) - established in the 14th century, monastery is situated at the foot of Vitosha mountain, close to Sofia’s Dragalevtsi neighborhood, in a picturesque beech-tree lined site.
Vitosha Mountain and Nature Reserve (7 km) - this beautiful mountain contains numerous hiking and climbing opportunities, as well as being home to the oldest nature reserve in the Balkans.

By Car 9 km from Sofia:
- Head for Orlov Most, Eagles' Bridge Square, in the heart of the city.
- Travel south-east along Tsarigradsko Shosse Boulevard for approximately 5 km.
- Turn right at the Mladost exit.
- Proceed along Alexandar Malinov Boulevard until you reach the Holiday Inn Sofia.
Taxis are available for EUR 5 from Sofia international airport 6 km from our hotel. The journey will take approximately 5 to 10 minutes. A taxi from Sofia central railway station 11 km from our hotel will cost approximately EUR 5.
There is also a free downtown evening shuttle bus service available for a minimum of 3 guests.
Please note that in 2008 you will receive a 25% early-booker discount on reservations (at least 20 days in advance) for working days. A minimum stay of 2 nights is required.
