El Palacio Real (3.1 km) – This Spanish royal palace began as a hunting pavillion and became an alternative residence of the kings of Spain until Alfonso XII, who died in the palace. Francisco Franco lived in the palace after the Spanish Civil War. Since Franco's death, the palace has been used as a residence for visiting heads of state.

- Take the N-II to Gregorio Marañón square.
- Take Paseo de la Castellana until the Emilio Castelar square.
- Turn around until the opposite side of Paseo de la Castellana.
- Turn at the 2nd street on the right, where the hotel is located.
Distance: 8 km, 25 minutes by car from the airport.
By Underground:
Direct access by metro Line 8 (Barajas-Nuevos Ministerios). There, change to Line 10 (Gregorio Marañón station).
