The monastery Kloster Langwarden is conveniently located regarding transport facilities, however it is a place far from hectic rush of any kind. The cloistral terrain is a car-free zone.

The guest house is located in the secular part of the monastery. It differs considerably from usual guest houses and conference hotels. The room types range from plain “Monchszellen” (monk’s boxes) to comfortable single and double rooms, which are equipped according to a classification of 3 stars.

Each guest has the opportunity to get in contact with the monk’s community in different ways. The monastery’s park and the adjacent nature reserve with its woods and fields invite to long walks, cycle tours as well as romantic carriage ride.

The rooms are plainly but comfortably equipped. Some rooms are provided with shower and toilet others only offer a shower or warm/cold water, respectively.

„Kloster-Schenke“:
Come in, feel comfortable and enjoy culinary highlights of a special kind. Look forward to a pleasant atmosphere, a cosy lounge, cultivated ambience, traditional and seasonal cloistral kitchen and adapted cloistral wine and beer. During winter, the open fire place creates a cosy atmosphere.

“Kloster-Gastgarten”:
The unique garden is the ideal place to enjoy your time far from every day life. From spring until autumn the beautiful cloistral park invites to relax. Selected, rustic and fresh dishes as well as seasonal beverages are served.

“Kloster-Keller”:
The cellar is the perfect room to hold rustic events and/or to enjoy the popular “Langwadener Klosterschmaus” – mediaeval dishes, hoax, chat and music.

Many touristy highlights, such as the Museumsinsel Hombroich (island of museums) or the skiing hall Neuss, are within easy reach. The cloistral card “Langwadener Kolosterkarte” offers many touristy, cultural and sportive facilities and activities at a discounted price.

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled or modified up to 18:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, 80 percent of the first night will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 10 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
All older children or adults are charged EUR 20.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 1.
Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 2.
