This old palace is surrounded by beautiful countryside.

Decorated with a blend of Alentejo and late Victorian style, 6 rooms are located in the old palace, are more spacious and have whirlpool bath. The remaining 25 in the new wing have balcony overlooking the swimming pool or the river beach.

The restaurant offers regional cuisine. Marbles Bar is located inside the palace and in the summer, Sombra Bar is by the poolside.

Delight in the night sky in our very own observatory. We host special Astronomy Nights, which the whole family can enjoy.

As business facilities, the hotel has 2 rooms for meetings, one room for banquets and an auditorium, with audiovisual equipment to hire.

Superior rooms have no balcony or terrace and face the garden on that side of the building. Standard rooms have balcony or terrace, some facing the swimming pool and others facing the river beach.

Buffet breakfast is served from 08:00 to 10:30.

By Car (from Faro Airport):
- Head towards the EN125 / Faro and then continue straight on to São Brás Alportel / A22.
- At the approach of the A22 motorway, follow directions to Olhão / Tavira / Monte Gordo / V. R. Santo António / Spain. - Exit the A22 towards V. R. Santo António / Castro Marim / Beja. Then turn left at the junction and enter the IC27 towards Beja / Alcoutim.
- From here, just follow the IC27 and continue on EN122 road until Mértola, which is about 60 km away.
- After crossing the bridge and entering Mértola, drive straight on, heading to the centre, until a roundabout with a fountain.
- Turn right until the next roundabout 100 m ahead.
- Go around it and head on towards Serpa and Mina de São Domingos on the EN265, crossing the bridge over the Guadiana River.
- Mina de São Domingos is 17 km away, and the estimated time to get there is 15-20 minutes.
- After passing the village's name sign on the right and a lake on the left, Estalagem São Domingos is located further ahead on the right-hand side.

By Car (from Lisbon Airport):
- Head on to Ponte Vasco da Gama / Auto-Estrada do Sul / A12.
- This motorway will join further ahead with the A2 motorway, heading South.
- Take Exit 10 towards Beja / Ferreira and head on all the way to Beja on the IP8.
- Once arriving at the roundabout in Beja, turn right towards the IP2 , in the direction of Castro Verde / Algarve.
- About 8 km later, turn left towards Mértola / V. R. Santo António. Drive straight on to Mértola.
- After entering Mértola, arrive at the roundabout and head on towards Serpa and Mina de São Domingos on the EN265, crossing the bridge over the Guadiana River.
- Follow the above directions from here.

Standard rooms can take one extra bed and superior rooms can take 2 extra beds. The price is EUR 25 per person per night (50% discount for children).

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

All children are welcome.
All children under 3 years stay free of charge for cots.
All children from 4 to 12 years are charged EUR 12.50 per night and person for extra beds.
All older children or adults are charged EUR 25.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
