Situated in the picturesque village of Forest Row on the edge of Ashdown Forest, this hotel is a great springboard for the many fabulous tourist venues in Sussex.

Our aim is to offer an historic atmosphere, steeped in old world charm and hospitality. The Brambletye has served as a hotel since 1866 and featured in 'Sherlock Holmes, The Adventure of Black Peter'. Public areas have recently been refurbished to include a smart, spacious open plan bar and restaurant that serves excellent Traditional modern home cooked food. Bedrooms are spacious with modern facilities.

We have single, twin, double, family and four poster bedrooms. There are also interconnecting rooms for families.

Breakfast is served from 07:00 until 09:30.
Lunch is served from 12:00 until 14:30.
Dinner is served from 18:30 until 21:30.

Groombridge Place and the Enchanted Forest (7 miles) - Set within 200 acres of landscaped gardens and against a 17th century moated manor, here you can enjoy bird of prey flying displays and forest walks.

Penhurst Place and Gardens (8 miles) - Surrounded by peaceful Kentish countryside, this impressive building was built from local sandstone and dates from 1341. Within are a wide collection of tapestries, paintings and armour. Explore the picturesque landscaped gardens, The Toy Museum, Nature Trail and let the children run riot in the Venture Playground.

And of course, don't forget we are in AA. Milne's Winnie the Pooh country. Just a couple of miles away is Pooh corner boutique, where you can obtain information on free tours of "The Hundred Aker wood", the "Enchanted Place" and, of course, "Pooh Bridge", for a game of pooh sticks.

From the M25 motorway:
- Exit onto the M23 for Crawley.
- Exit onto the A2220 and continue onto the A264 for East Grinstead.
- Bear left just after entering East Grinstead, onto the A22 for Forest Row, and down Brambletye Hill.
- The hotel is the first building on the right as you enter the village.
