Parking is free of charge for all guests and there is also room for bicycles.

The standard hotel rooms were refurbished in 2004. The superior rooms were built in April 2006. All the rooms are ensuite and feature a shower, hair- dryer, satellite TV and direct-dial phone.

The superior rooms also have an additional balcony and air- conditioning. Family rooms for 4 people are also available.

The restaurant Areta can seat 250 people and is situated on the ground floor of Hotel Salinera.
It offers pleasant, bright surroundings in which to sample a range of cuisines. A varied and lavish breakfast buffet is on offer and guests can also order dishes of local and foreign cuisine.

Breakfast is served from 07:30-10:00 and is available at a cost of EUR 4.20 per person.
Lunch is served from 12:30-14:00 and dinner is available from 18:30-20:30. The Bar is open from 20:00-22:00.

During the summer months guests can relax on the outdoor terrace in the evening and listen to live music and an array of entertainment. Staff are on hand to attend to hospitality packages for meetings or the organization of picnics.

Guests from the Salinera Tourist Complex can take advantage of the hotel’s beach, which is partly covered in grass and concrete. Trees provide natural shade on one side of the beach. The area is particularly suitable for families with small children as it is within easy reach of the sea.

During the summer months, you can hire small boats. There is also a beach bar selling ice cream, a newspaper kiosk and a fresh fruit stall.

If you enjoy exploring, the hotel suggests that you cycle or walk through the Strunjan valley to the tunnel through which the “Parenzana” railway line used to run, connecting Trieste and Poreč. The tunnel will take you straight into the heart of Portorož.

The hotel recommends that guests with an interest in nature should take a walk past the small pilgrimage church and the Mediterranean stone pine trees to the Mesečev zaliv bay. The bay has a unique shape and lies in the centre of the Strunjan Nature Reserve. On the way, you can stop at the Strunjan Cross, from where there is a splendid view over the Bay of Trieste.

It is also possible to take excursions to the attractive Mediterranean town of Piran and other places along the Slovenian coast.
