A renovated 3 star hotel with a friendly and informal atmosphere, close to the city centre on the “Eigerplatz” (motorway exit “Bern Forsthaus”).
Awarded Swiss Tourism’s Quality Award I, the hotel has 62 spacious and comfortable rooms, restaurant with bar, conference rooms.
All rooms were renovated in 2007 and equipped with modern facilities.
By car:
- Take the N1 towards Lausanne/Fribourg
- Exit at Bern Forsthaus towards city centre
- Turn right at the first crossing towards Interlaken
- Follow Zieglerstrasse. The hotel Astoria is located before the Eigerplatz (square) on the right side of the street.
By public transport:
From train station Bern (short distance ticket):
- Take the tram number 3, Perron 4, towards Weissenbühl or bus number 10, behind the mall Loeb, towards Köniz Schliern
- Exit at stop Eigerplatz.
You will see the yellow hotel building on the right side of the street.
Cancellation
If cancelled up to 16:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.
Children up to 12 years old stay free of charge (excluding breakfast) when sharing a room with 2 paying adults and using existing beds. Max. 2 children per room per 2 paying adults. Children from 13 to 16 years old receive a 30% reduction in their parents room (incl. breakfast). Extra charges may apply.
